A lovely day at the park

We were thrilled when the forecast said a high of 50. A break from the bitter cold. We got out the bikes and loaded up the girls and headed over to the playground. I dressed them in their snowsuits so that I knew they were warm enough. Out in the sun and moving around it really did not feel that cold. The park was packed with other families so we were not the only ones with the idea of getting out of the house on such a beautiful day.

Little stinker

She was full of herself this evening..
Liliana and Mimi are dancing in this picture.
This is Marina-Joy's funny smile

Here is Mimi-Joy in jammies and the slippers that Cj and Ginger gave her for Christmas. She is walking everywhere now. It looks like she is about to lose her diaper in this picture, but I checked it and its the way that her jammies fit that makes it look a little lopsided. Mimi-Joy went to the doctor today and she received a clean bill of health. Liliana clung to my legs and cried while Mimi received her vaccination shots.

Snow bunny

Liliana plays in the snow with her bunny, Baxter and a stick.

Lunch today

Eve, Eric and Michael
Mommy
Lili and Mimi
I know that it is crazy to bring 4 preschoolers out to lunch, but my friend Eve and I decided to give it a try. The kids did behave and lunch was lots of fun. We had lunch at Ras Casa's Ethiopian Restaurant and it was delicious.

Liliana loves play dough

Here is my budding sculptor playdoughing away..

A warm day

We went for a ride. I only had to push Mimi. But I had to push Liliana over snowy patches where people did not shovel their walks.

a little purple coat commin' at' cha"
Playing with the boys across the street.
I know, it looks realllly cold, and yes, it has been, but today it was in the high 50's (my thermometer read 58). I bundled the kids up anyway, just because of the notion of it being really cold. But I am wearing only a sweater and jeans.

If your looking for trouble.......

Getting Liliana's milk cup from her
Remote controller What a feeling of power!
oops, fallen with the remote. But not hurt!
Here comes trouble!!
In jail
Ready to go!
On the move...
Ahhh the dishwasher!!
If your looking for trouble, then look no further, you have found it. Marina loves anything that she can get into. The heater in her room is her favorite, she loves to turn it on and try to stick her fingers in to touch the heating element. I have to keep the door to her room closed. Next comes the remote control for the television, then the dishwasher is loads of fun to unload.
And it there are a million pieces of silverware to be gotten into, right at her level, you know that she will grab the knife first and foremost. Then of course taking her sisters milk cup produces just the right reaction from her sister! What fun to keep Mommy on her toes!! Who would have thought someone so small could make so much trouble!
